Myth #1: "If I can buy it online, it must be legal and safe to use."

Myth #2: "The regulatory situation is settled — peptides are either banned or approved."
The truth is messier, and it's been actively evolving in 2026. Several widely discussed peptides — including BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, and MOTS-c — were restricted from compounding in 2023 over concerns about limited human safety data. This year, that landscape has been under active review: an FDA advisory committee has been evaluating whether some of these peptides should be permitted for compounding again, and recommendations have been made in that direction. But committee recommendations are not the same as a final FDA decision, and the formal rules haven't been finalized as of this writing.

Myth #3: "More peptides, stacked together, means better and faster results."

A thoughtful protocol starts with your labs, your goals, and a clear rationale for each compound, not with a pre-made bundle sold for its novelty.
Myth #4: "Peptide therapy is only for elite athletes and biohackers."
Peptides are often marketed with a performance-culture edge, but in a clinical setting, they're typically used to support far more ordinary goals: recovery after an injury, improved sleep and energy, healthier skin and connective tissue, or metabolic support as part of a broader longevity plan. The right candidate is someone with a clear health goal and appropriate lab work — not necessarily someone chasing a personal record.

A responsible peptide program should always include:
